Haven Charter High School shares information with students, families, and staff regarding the Dominic Murray Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act, which is intended to help schools, students, and parents/guardians understand the risks, signs, and symptoms of sudden cardiac arrest. The Act requires schools to provide critical information so that students who may be at risk are evaluated before participation in athletics and so sudden cardiac arrest can be recognized and treated quickly.
Families are encouraged to review the sudden cardiac arrest prevention information and speak with a medical provider if they have concerns about a student’s health or athletic participation.
