Greetings and welcome to Haven Charter High School!

What a joy it has been to begin this journey together. Over the past several months, our inaugural school year has come to life in ways that have  inspired us all. We have watched our students grow in confidence, build meaningful relationships, and begin to define what it truly means to be part of Haven. Every day, I am reminded that we are not just building a school—we are building a community grounded in purpose, possibility, and care.

At Haven, we are reimagining education in the Bronx through a strong foundation in Career and Technical Education (CTE) focused on the health sciences. Our vision is rooted in the belief that every student deserves access to opportunities that prepare them not only for college and careers, but for a life of impact. Through hands-on learning, personalized support, and a deep commitment to civic responsibility, our students are discovering their strengths and stepping into their potential.

Our core values—Excellence, Compassion, Integrity, Community, Empathy, and Courage—are more than words; they are the heartbeat of our school. With the continued partnership of East Side House Settlement, we are creating a space where students feel seen, supported, and empowered to dream boldly and lead with purpose.

As we celebrate the milestones of our first year, we are also filled with excitement for what lies ahead. We are especially thrilled to welcome our next freshman class—the Class of 2030—into the Haven family. Their arrival represents new energy, new stories, and new possibilities, and we cannot wait to grow alongside them.

To our families, thank you for trusting us and walking this journey with us. To our students, thank you for showing us each day what courage, curiosity, and heart truly look like. You are the foundation of Haven, and because of you, our future is bright.
